      ECONOMIC BOTANY Economic botany is the study of the identification, properties, uses, and dis-tribution of economic plants. The Society for Economic Botany in its original constitution defined economic botany as "all activities which pertain to the past, present, and future uses of plants by man. It is recognized that this broad definition. Subjects: Botany Botany, Economic Botany, Medical Applied and economic botany, especially adapted for the use of students in technical schools, agricultural, pharmaceutical and medical colleges, and also as a book of reference for chemists, food analysts and students engaged in the morphological and physiological study of plants.
