ECONOMIC BOTANY Economic botany is the study of the identification, properties, uses, and dis-tribution of economic plants. The Society for Economic Botany in its original constitution defined economic botany as "all activities which pertain to the past, present, and future uses of plants by man. It is recognized that this broad definition.
